Resurfacing
Whether you’re looking for fun and vibrant designs with our wetpour or greater padding and absorbency, we can take your playground to the next level. Surfacing options can sometimes feel endless, but the School Playground Company will be with you at every step of the way with advice and guidance to make the task more manageable.
To encourage child physical and social development, we can use our wetpour to make intrinsic designs in your surface. We have the expertise from embedding traditional games such as hopscotch into your wetpour to adding your school logo into the surface.

Outdoor Classrooms
A change of scenery can be highly productive for children when learning, so we understand the importance of providing pupils with an alternative space for educational and social development. Offering a range of outdoor classroom solutions from gazebos and reading huts to shelters and canopies, we tailor to a variety of needs.
Our gazebos and reading huts come in a range of sizes with different floor types, the option for benches inside, and a choice between roof styles and materials. With the option to mix and match between options, we have the scope to make an outdoor classroom that meets the needs of your school and its pupils. With the option to add a ramp entrance to your gazebo, our product provides both an accessible and productive space for your pupils to develop their learning.
Similarly, we offer sail shades with 13 standard size combinations and a bespoke made to measure service. If you are looking to add some shade to your playground without the structure of a gazebo, sail shades would be a perfect option.

Active Fun Equipment
As part of our active fun equipment, we offer a range of outdoor playground equipment for schools from trim trails to traditional climbing towers.
Our trim trails encourage fun play while developing physical skills through balance and climbing. To meet your needs, we offer trim trail combinations as well as well as freestanding trim trail, allowing full freedom in your playground design. We also offer mini trim trails to accommodate for all ages.
Larger Playground Equipment
In addition to active play equipment, we provide bespoke larger playground equipment. While our larger climbing towers are highly successful with schools, we have also made several themed structures. In 2022, we completed a pirate ship structure for the St Nicholas C of E Primary School.
Imaginative Play
Although we offer physically active outdoor play equipment, we similarly acknowledge the importance of imaginative play in playgrounds for schools. Allowing children to learn independently or in a group, we provide nature play and den building, storytelling playhouses, and sensory play options.
Notably, we developed St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School in Leamington Spa by transforming a corner of their playground into a storytelling area for KS1 pupils. Laying a new artificial grass to replace the tarmac surfacing followed by adding story telling furniture such as mushroom seating and benches, we received purely positive feedback from the head teacher and pupils.
