School STAGES

Children should have the ability to express themselves through creativity and art during play and outdoor lessons. After a long day of learning in the classroom, children require an outlet for their energy; which an environment like a stage can provide. Whether they feel like dancing, playing charades, or acting out stories with friends, performance is a healthy way for children to develop independence and confidence.
Available in a variety of sizes to suit your playground, a stage is the ideal versatile setting for any playground activity. This is an essential creative play space to optimise outdoor learning in a variety of ways. The stage is suitable as a setting for drama lessons, a platform from which to speak to larger groups, or a free space for students to explore dance, song, or acting for themselves.
Storytelling Areas
A storytelling area can be a space for students to come together, learn, and explore their imaginations through reading. With a wooden reading chair and 4 portable wooden seating cubes, all topped with soft grass, children can sit and enjoy private or communual reading in a dedicated space, designed for them.
Bringing reading and outdoor learning to the playground is effective in motivating students beyond the classroom walls. Outdoor learning improves attention spans and energy levels by introducign a new environment with fresh air and room to stay active. Regular use of outdoor storytelling areas during lesson time and break times makes reading a daily activity that students engage with and enjoy.
All the best playground spaces are flexible, accommodating a range of activities. Therefore, we design outdoor reading areas for both formal outdoor teaching and for small groups of students to sit together and share their favourite stories. READING HUTS
